As we get set for Super Bowl LV from Tampa Bay on Sunday, the RP Show has been gathering all the info from our list of NFL analysts and guests as we get set to make our official picks for our friends at ComeOn! Canada.

Our official picks will come out on Saturday morning.

Last week Chris Jones, formerly of the head coach of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Edmonton Eskimos now of the Cleveland Browns, joined the RP Show and talked about the match-up on Sunday.

“It’s going to be interesting to see exactly what Bruce (Arians) has ready, as far as a blitz package,” Jones stated, “because you know Kansas City’s going to pin their ears back and come after you.”

In week 11 the Chiefs jumped out to a 17-0 lead over Tampa Bat and held on for a 27-24 win. Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady threw a pair of interceptions and was sacked once during the game.

“(Kansas City’s) very much like Baltimore. They’re going to come after you and see if your quarterback, make him get the ball out quicker than what he wants to,” Jones explained. “But, now, with that being said, you’ve got the guy (on the other side) that does that probably as good as anybody that’s ever done it. So, I mean, it’s going to be such a good game.”

The Buccaneers’ defence is entering the Super Bowl after holding the Green Back Packers’ offence to just 26 points in the NFC Championship. That was just the fifth time all season the Packers had failed to score at least 30 points in a game and just the second time in eight games.

Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers did have success, throwing for 346 yards and three touchdowns to just one interception.

For defensive guru Chris Jones, Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes poses an even bigger threat.

“And with Mahomes, he’s able to maneuver around in the pocket. He can run if he needs to, he can throw from every angle, and so, man, he’s an extremely impressive young quarterback.”

The Chiefs’ are favoured by three points ahead of Sunday’s big game.
