Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Zach Collaros, with the support of The Mosaic Company, is partnering with the mâmawêyatitân centre to assist north central youth with recreational and fitness opportunities.

Zach has committed to personally donating one dollar for every passing yard and $100 for each passing touchdown he records through the 2018 CFL season to the mâmawêyatitân centre. In support, The Mosaic Company has agreed to match Zach’s donation.

“I am excited to be able to give back to the city and community that supports our team so strongly,” stated Rider quarterback Zach Collaros. “The mâmawêyatitân centre is a remarkable facility offering youth great programing. Assisting them to increase recreational opportunities is a positive motivator.”

It was a natural partnership for The Mosaic Company that has had a long-standing partnership with the mâmawêyatitân centre and the Roughriders.

“Before Zach had even landed in Saskatchewan, he was asking how he can help the most vulnerable kids in Regina. This says a lot about our new quarterback’s character and mirrors the strong community spirit here in our province,” says Sarah Fedorchuk, VP of Public Affairs & Government Relations at Mosaic. “Mosaic is excited to be on board with this new project by matching any money earned by Zach throughout the season to support programs for youth at the mâmawêyatitân centre. Go Riders!”

For the mâmawêyatitân centre it is an opportunity to continue to grow the programs they offer to community youth.

“The partners at mâmawêyatitân centre are honoured and excited to start a new partnership with Zach Collaros,” said Sandra Bellegarde, Integration Coordinator, mâmawêyatitân centre. “We are very humbled by Zach’s generous offer to contribute his personal funds to support new and existing programming for North Central children, youth and their families. As well, a special thank you to the Riders and The Mosaic Company for also investing in this new partnership between Zach and mâmawêyatitân centre through their support and contributions. As mâmawêyatitân centre partners in collaboration with Zach, the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Mosaic, we look forward to this new journey as we work together to offer programs that foster positive relationships, mentorship and active lifestyles for North Central children and youth.”
