COUGAR HOCKEY NEWS

REGINA, Sask. – The University of Regina men’s hockey team made an addition over the December break, adding first-year forward Ian McNulty for the second semester. Named the 2013 SJHL Player of the Year after a stellar campaign with the Melville Millionaires, McNulty is eligible immediately and made his debut for the Cougars over the weekend at Lethbridge.

McNulty had a stint at the pro level earlier this season, scoring three goals and adding three assists in 15 games for the Columbus Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League.

He’ll make his home debut with the U of R this weekend as the Cougars host UBC at The Co-operators Centre on Friday and Saturday. Both games will face off at 7 p.m.
