What a game, a great team win. Wonder if Fleury will be disciplined for shoving and verbally abusing the penalty box official at the end of the game?
Brandt Center the place to be Sunday.

Despicable conduct by Fleury. Are you allowed to 'touch'/'assault' a Pats employee in the penalty box? On top of that his cross check to the head of Jake L in the 3Rd speaks to his character. If he actually makes the NHL he won't last. He will be treated like a b-tch, he is so done. Character is now known.

Wow….just a great couple nights at the Brandt Centre. The Pats weren't without mistakes both nights, but they had everyone contributing. Goaltending was the difference tonight, with Brown playing exceptional in the first period. The PP has came from nowhere to become the best PP in the playoffs. The Pats need to beat the Rebels with tenacious speed to win a game in Red Deer. Brown will have to play his best game of the series as well to win in Red Deer. I am looking forward to Sunday, the rink should be rockin.

Just wondering if the pats weren't so lethal on power play would they even be in this series seems like the refs are making this a series am I not seeing the big picture or were the penalties properly called just wondering and Brandon will be impossible to beat in 7 game series

The Pats may not end up winning this series but this is the most fun I've had at Pats games in a long time! They are playing their hearts out for each other. The team unity is amazing.

Great to see the Agridome with so much energy! Good luck to the guys on Friday and see you Sunday! GO PATS!!

That's a first blaming the refs for the Pat's success. I'm having trouble seeing your point of view because I can't get my head that far up my ass.

Some people have to find something to be negative about so they might as well try blaming the refs. The Pats have been much more disciplined the last couple of games and the Rebels have been worse.

I'm so glad the Pats have made this a series by tying it up! Could be anyone's series now. All the pressure is on the Memorial Cup hosts!

The Pats powerplay is unreal! After it was basically nowhere to be found all season, I can't believe how dominant it has been!

Can't wait until Sunday!!!

What did Fleury do? Did he get in Stromberg's face?

I went to the game tues and my comment was that both teams were very disciplined. No after whistle crap. Red Deer got a bit goofy when the game was ending but nothing like the old whl days.
Buying tickets for game 6! I had season tickets for a few years but never saw near the entertainment on the ice or the excitement in the stands.

A great couple of nights at the Brandt but time to take the rose coloured glasses off. Last night the Pats were hit repeatedly and you can see them wearing out game by game. By the late second and most of the third they were on the ropes bad. The did not dominate RD and that's a team with four regular stars out of the lineup. What I think the Pats showed is that they are gamers with a lot of guts. However you can see them wearing out. Sanford looks slow and tired as ix Brooks. I don't think… Read more »

Jake L is really coming into his own this playoff season. Working 110% every shift and outworking the much bigger RD players. Great to see!

Getting 2 days rest is going to help immensely so Red Deer had better be ready.

Go Pats Go!

I disagree with last anon. RD is in trouble. They are taking stupid penalties because they are frustrated with Pats speed and skill. I totally disagree that they were only "good" games, they were "great" games by a 7th seeded team that wasn't supposed to push the Mem. Cup team. Well done Pats, outstanding effort!

Interesting to see people from Regina always second guessing the Pats. History shows that if you complain about something, you will eventually be right. Heck, they havnt been passed the second round since 1993. 1) The Pats have been leading the WHL in PP goals this playoffs, yet they dont have the skill that other teams have. The hockey "intelligence" in my section keeps yelling shoot on the Powerplay….the clearly have it figured out. I dont need to say anything more about the person that mentioned it was the refs fault Regina was scoring PP goals.2) The Pats lack the… Read more »
