DUB ROUND-UP: WARRIORS TRIP UP PATS
Regina, Sask. — In a game that was originally scheduled to play on Sunday, the Moose Jaw Warriors skated into Regina and took a 2-1 victory over the Pats at the Brandt Centre on Wednesday.
Jagger Firkus and Brayden Yager tallied the Warriors’ goals which were both scored in the first period and held on for the 2-1 win. Connor Ungar made 19 saves on 20 shots to pick up the victory in the Warriors net.
Alexander Suzdalev replied for the Pats who fell to .500 on the season at 6-6-0-1. Drew Sim stopped 20 of 22 Warriors shots in the loss.

RED DEER, Alta. – Kai Uchacz led the way with two goals as the Red Deer Rebels continued their unbeaten run with a 6-2 win over the Victoria Royals on Wednesday night.
Jace Isley, Matteo Fabrizi, Carson Birnie and Dwayne Jean Jr. also scored for Red Deer (11-0-0). The Rebels jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Teague Patton scored for Victoria (2-9-2) in the first period.
After four unanswered goals from Red Deer made it 6-1, Reggie Newman put the Royals on the board one final time with just 1:41 remaining in the game.
Rhett Stoesser stopped 13-of-15 shots in the win.
BRONCOS 5 HURRICANES 4
SWIFT CURRENT, SASK. – Sam McGinley scored the eventual winner as Swift Current held off a Lethbridge (5-8-0) comeback effort. The Broncos (3-7-0) were up 3-1 going into the final frame before the Hurricanes scored twice to tie it. Mathew Ward’s second goal and McGinley’s score put the game out of reach.
