DURANT’S SEASON OVER

IRVING, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys have placed linebacker Justin Durant on season-ending injured reserve and released linebacker Kyle Bosworth and defensive tackle Drake Nevis.

Durant, the brother of CFL Roughriders QB Darian Durant, injured a hamstring in Sunday’s loss to Green Bay, and the Cowboys played most of the game without their top four linebackers. Sean Lee’s return is in question for the final two games because of a neck injury.

The Cowboys re-signed linebacker Orie Lemon and released running back George Winn from the practice squad Tuesday.

Dallas now has two open spots on the active roster and one on the practice squad.

They should have openings at Owner, GM, Coach and QB. What a dysfunction group. I hope the losing continues for ever, maybe longer.

Ever since Jerry Jones had to get his ego involved and put his hands on the team Jimmy Johnson put together, the team has never been the same. It’s funny how teams with meddling owners are dysfunctional (Dallas, Washington, Tennessee and Oakland)

If he had to get injured it's too bad he didn't get hurt on time to come to Regina and watch his brother win the Grey Cup.

"Durant, the brother of CFL Roughriders Grey Cup Champion QB Darian Durant." Can we put that before Darian's name at least until training camp? It sounds so nice.

Is there any question that the Dallas Cowboys are the biggest soap opera in sports. Too bad they didn't have a 24/7 show on them. It would be hilarious to watch.
