ELKS GM NOT VACCINATED

Brock-Sunderland

The Edmonton Elks say general manager Brock Sunderland is medically exempt from a team policy requiring staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The club issued a statement Wednesday saying the exemption was granted following consultations with multiple physicians.

It did not offer any details on Sunderland’s health.

The statement says every member of the Elks “remains committed to following public health best practices and adhering to the CFL’s strict protocols” for players, coaches and support staff.

Thirteen Edmonton players tested positive for COVID-19 in August, forcing the team into isolation and leading the league to postpone a game against the Argonauts in Toronto.

The Elks (2-5) fell 34-24 to the Ottawa Redblacks on Tuesday and aren’t scheduled to play again until Oct. 8, when they visit Winnipeg to take on the Blue Bombers.

Uh Huh, “remains committed to following public health best practices…..” I guess we’ll see.

His Clock has now started:

If 2 and 5 wasn’t enough, if hiring and paying Scott Milanovich $400K to do nothing wasn’t enough…….this will be enough.

He’s gone.

Oh last point – Edmonton was responsible for having to cancel a game with Toronto and put an entire season/schedule at risk.

These are the guys that need to be rooted out and tossed – medical exemption or not. He seems healthy enough to me in that photograph so he can get vaccinated.

This gm Brock Sunderland and his head coach Jamie Elizondo definitely don’t fit the football culture of the CFL Edmonton Elks Football Club, they both have to hit the road to the unemployment line immediately.

Not exactly a shining example of LEADERSHIP!
“You guys all have to get vaccinated; it only took me five doctors to come up with a BS excuse that I’m not divulging because it’s none of anybody’s business.”
