ESKIMOS ADD O-LINE COACH
The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the addition of Jonathan Himebauch to the coaching staff as the offensive line coach and run game coordinator.
Himebauch is entering his 15th season as a coach and his 13th as an offensive line coach. He began his Canadian Football League coaching career in 2003 as the offensive line coach for the Calgary Stampeders and later went on to serve three seasons (2009-11) as the offensive line coach for the Montreal Alouettes. During his time with the Alouettes, the offensive line was consistently among the top in the league for fewest sacks allowed and helped produce 1,000-yard rushers.
Himebauch was also the offensive line coach for Wake Forest, San Diego State, UNLV, Santa Barbara City College and Damien High School. He also served as head coach for Harvard-Westlake High School.
A former offensive lineman and long-snapper, the University of Southern California alumnus played for the Toronto Argonauts; the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs; the XFL’s Los Angeles Xtreme; and the NFL Europe’s Rhein Fire.
Edmonton Eskimos loading up. This doesn't bode well on cfl roughriders of saskatchewan 2014 +
Nice try cupcake!
The EE will be a flop once again in 2014. There is nothing and no one on that team that threatens anyone. They had 2 decent receivers. One of which has flew the coupe to Hamilton. Plus the have one good MLB who is constantly fighting the injury bug… so the Bombers and the Eskimos will be fighting to stay out of the basement. That you can take to the bank!!
