ESKIMOS SIGN FORMER NFL QB
(Edmonton) – The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the signing of import quarterback Pat White.
White joins the Green and Gold after spending time in the National Football League with the Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins.
The former West Virginia Mountaineer is a proven dual threat QB. He played 49 games over his four year college career (2005-08) passing for 6,049 yards and 56 touchdowns, while rushing for 4,480 yards on 684 carries and 47 touchdowns.
The Dolphins drafted him in part because they were playing around with the Wildcat offense. He never got much of a chance at either NFL stop, but he is 'athletic' as they say. It will be interesting watching what he can do in EDM.
