FOUR PATS RANKED IN CSB RATINGS, TEAM STILL #1

On Wednesday the Central Scouting Bureau released its mid-term rankings in advance of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft to be held in Chicago.

Topping the list is Brandon Wheat Kings forward Nolan Patrick who is the #1-rated skater in North America.

The Regina Pats fared well with winger Nick Henry ranked 25th, centre Jake Leschyhsyn rated 31st and defenceman Jonathan Smart slotted at #98.

Goaltender Jordan Hollett is the 4th-ranked goaltender in North America.  P.A.’s Ian Scott was the highest-rated WHL goalie coming in at #2 overall.

Meanwhile the Canadian Hockey League announced the Week 17 edition of its Top 10 ranked teams in the nation.  The Regina Pats were again named the #1 team in Canadian junior hockey.
