Haven't seen a line brawl for a long time in Regina. Nice to win and dominate the fights! All 5 Pats players won the fights, Pats are looking very good.
Is the 80's Oilers? What a squad! LOVE IT!
Grabbed a bunch of tickets and drove an hour to watch the game. Big fan of Hobbs, know his Aunt, he comes from good stock.
Me and my buddy were wondering if they had any toughness to go with the skill. Then the line brawl happened. Every signal Pat was on top. Hobbs dummied his guy. Toughness is not an issue, a credit to Paddock.
Blades got dummied period.
Will be 4 one-game suspensions for both teams on that line brawl.
The Pats are riding high for sure … but so were the undefeated Habs, until tonight when they got blown out 10-0. Ouch!! Pats need to stay humble and play hard all games, every shift.
Let's hope the Pats meet their waterloo in Moose Jaw bring on the Patsies.. Go Warriors Go!!
Fantastic entertainment at the Brandt Center last night. Should be a good game in Bug Tussle on Thursday night. A good measuring stick for both teams.
Go Pats
Best Pats hockey in well over a decade! Anyone know if the Pats will be missing Sergei, Hobbs, Wags and Steel against Moose Jaw next week?
They are sure playing at a high level at this point. Last night was another game where they took it to the opposition and never let up. Brown was a littel shaky on a few of the goals so wasn't indicative of their goaltending. They put incredible pressure on the Blades on the penalty kill so many times it looked like Pats had the PP.Suspensions? Was checking the WHL Discipline site and so far only $500 fines for both teams (multi-player fight) but no suspenions noted yet. According to some other info on there it looks like only an instigator of… Read more »
William Weppler – I agree with your analysis except for the part where you state "Last night was another game where they took it to the opposition and never let up." The Pats clearly let off of the gas in the second period and Adam Brooks admitted as much after the game. It's scary how potent their offense is this year and I don't think there is much doubt from anyone that the Pats could have scored at least 10 goals total if they wouldn't have let off of the gas in the second period. The Pats scoring 2 goals… Read more »
I attribute the "weak" 2nd period to Mr. Brown not the Team.
Anonymous and Weppler sound like they are both Full Of Gas.
Well at least Regina has one team to cheer for, the Riders, Rams and Thunder all sucked this year.
