CRANBROOK, B.C. – Matt Alfaro struck twice as the Ice beat Regina 5-3 Friday night at the RecPlex.
Tanner Lishchynsky and Austin Wellsby had a goal and two assists for Kootenay (8-31-3). Noah Philp had the other.
Adam Brooks, Connor Hobbs and Colton Kroeker found the back of the net for the Pats (17-18-6) who opened a six-game road trip with a second consecutive loss.
Jordan Hallett started the game in goal for the Pats, allowing four goals on 27 shots before making way for Kurtis Chapman. The Pats outshot the Ice 48-34 while going 1/3 on the powerplay and 3/3 on the penalty kill.
The attendance was 1939.
Saturday night the Pats visit the Spokane Chiefs at 9:00 pm on 620 CKRM.

So you get rid of Cooper who can actually play hockey. Get rid of him and sign Williams from Americans who has fractured foot and can't play. Good move Pats!!!!!

Pats club on their road trip will give them time to sing " the wheels on the bus go round and round.

The Pats are limping along trying to get a playoff spot. They will be in tough to get one and actually don't deserve one right now. Past 10 game 2-5-2-2 is not impressive. Since the return from the last long road trip the Pats have been brutal in just about all phases. Scoring too few..giving up too many. All season the defence hasn't improved one bit.
