Somedays, the NFL and it’s stars are the greatest reality television show on earth. Even when the games aren’t on, there is still always something going on that makes us tune in.

This week, it was announced that star quarterback, and reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers tested positive for COVID-19.

The announcement was made on Wednesday, Nov.3, and with it, came the clarification that Rodgers was unvaccinated. Before the season, Rodgers had stated he had been “immunized”, but was never vaccinated.

As an unvaccinated player, Rodgers must follow all the rules associated with the status, which includes for example, wearing a mask at all times in club facilities and indoor press conferences.

Many fans, including Rod Pedersen, seem to be growing tired of the constant divisive stories associated with the star QB.

“It’s a big deal when the reigning league MVP can’t play a game,” said Pedersen. “But it seems like the NFL is tired of this Aaron Rodgers saga and I said it, I’m tired of Aaron Rodgers. I’m tired of him.

“I have heard he’s a great guy, but he has caused a lot of problems for the NFL,” said Pedersen.

For Darren Dupont, he questions what this situation will mean for the Packers moving forward, in a very tight race for first in the NFC.

“For Rodgers, they have big games coming up,” said Dupont. “They have Kansas City this weekend and he won’t play, and then if he can’t play next weekend, Russell Wilson might be back for the Seahawks, and you might not have Aaron Rodgers for that one either.

“So, this whole confusion of if he got vaccinated or if he didn’t and all that stuff, might have cost Green Bay a home playoff game,” said Dupont

On top of potentially losing a home playoff game if the team can’t keep winning without Rodgers,  there could also be harsh penalties on both Rodgers and the team.

If the NFL finds that Rodgers violated any of the league’s protocols over the past few months, the Green Bay Packers could be fined hundreds of thousands of dollars as well as lose draft picks in the upcoming draft.

As well, Rodgers himself could be fined, and potentially suspended.

For this week’s game against the Chiefs, Jordan love is expected to make the start, and join the growing list of backup quarterbacks that have been taking the field over the last few weeks.

The Packers are currently sitting at 7-1 and coming off a huge win over Arizona, but without Rodgers, and no real good look at Love yet, it is hard to tell whether the team will start to drop some games, or if they can hold down the fort until Rodgers gets back.

Wow! Claiming to be vaxxed when you are not could and should have consequences. I’ve always been a fan of Rogers but hard not to see him as an a—hole right now.

Watch his convo with Mcafee . dude makes sense to me. He is his own man and the NFL knew his staus just like other high profile NFLers aka Carson Wentz . Lamar Jackson.
People need to chill on the vax shaming. Just creates more anger and stubborness.

Agreed Jesse, leave the guy alone. Yes he maybe mislead people, but can you blame him, look at how they treat the unvaxxed in the league. People are all over him because he took things (ivermectin, hcq, zinc) and is feeling better. How dare he feel better and not be in the hospital dying! What a shame! He took something other than the mainstream says is ok to take and he is shamed. Wow, unreal. Now I see they have Sesame Street characters telling kids to get the vaxx, but that’s ok to do, but Rodgers can’t talk to Rogan… Read more »
