Anaheim still leads the best-of-seven playoff series 2-1. Johnny Gaudreau scored with 19.5 second left in the third period to tie the game 3-3 for the Flames after Sam Bennett’s tying goal was disallowed earlier in the third.

Patrick Kane scored in the first and Corey Crawford shut the door the rest of the way as the Chicago Blackhawks held on for a 1-0 win over the Minnesota Wild. Chicago took a commanding 3-0 lead in the Western Conference semifinal series. Game 4 is in Minnesota again.

The Montreal Canadiens need to find a way to win in Florida. The Canadiens trail the Tampa Bay in their second-round playoff series after back-to-back losses in Montreal. The series resumes for Game 3 in Tampa Bay tonight. Also, the Washington Capitals welcome the New York Rangers for Game 4 in their series. Washington leads 2-1.

Canada can create a nearly insurmountable lead in the group standings of the world hockey championship this afternoon. Canada takes on second-place Sweden (at 2:15 p-m Eastern). The Canadians are 3-0, while the Swedes are second in Group A at 2-1.

Welcome back, Mike Conley. The Grizzlies returned from facial fractures to lead Memphis to a 97-90 victory over the Golden State Warriors. Conley had 22 points and three assists as Memphis tied their second-round playoff series 1-1. Steph Curry led Golden State with 19 points and six assists.

DeMarre Carroll and the Atlanta Hawks made the most of John Wall’s absence from the Washington Wizards lineup. Carroll scored 22 points and top-seeded Atlanta held off Washington 106-90. The Eastern Conference semifinal series is now tied 1-1. Wall, who finished out the series opener with an injured left hand, was a surprising scratch just before Game 2, shortly after the Wizards insisted he would play.

It was too little too late for Canadian Russell Martin and the Toronto Blue Jays. Martin hit a solo home run in the ninth inning as part of a three-run rally by Toronto, but the New York Yankees held on for a 6-3 win over the Blue Jays. The loss ended Toronto’s four-game home winning streak. Mark Teixeira led New York with a two-run homer.

Carlos Perez capped his major league debut with a game-ending homer in the ninth, and the Los Angeles Angels snapped their four-game skid with a 5-4 victory over the Seattle Mariners. Erick Aybar and Johnny Giavotella delivered RBI singles to tie it in the eighth for the Angels, who had blown a one-run lead earlier in the eighth.
