I would really like to thank the Riders organization and coaching staff, as well as my teammates and especially the guys on the d-line for their support and for picking up my slack this weekend against Calgary. I have a once in a lifetime opportunity to be the best man in my brother’s wedding and very thankful to get to be there for him. Just one more to go before our regular season home opener in Regina. I can’t wait!

I will never underestimate the value of this guy. There are good players who are jerks and there are poor players who are really nice guys. John Chick is a great player with a heart of gold and his loyalty and dedication to the game of football is to be admired. And he's a father of I believe 7 kids!
