JOSH HARDING BOBBLEHEAD NIGHT ON FRIDAY

The Regina Pats host the Red Deer Rebels on Friday (November 13) at the Brandt Centre (7 p.m.) for Josh Harding Bobblehead Night presented by Knight Archer Insurance.

Josh will be at Friday’s game and take part in a ceremonial faceoff to start the evening.  He will then be available to sign autographs during the first intermission.

Bobbleheads will be available for a minimum $5 donation (maximum two per person) to Josh’s charity, Harding’s Hope, in the northwest corner of the concourse.  Doors for Friday’s game open at 6 p.m. and quantities are limited.

Harding’s Hope raises awareness about multiple sclerosis (MS) and funds to support people living with MS.  The charity is focused on supporting individuals and families living with MS who are struggling with the costs of treating the disease.

Josh Harding was a member of the Pats from 2001-2003, appearing in 127 games.  He compiled a 57-42-10-16 record during his time with the Blue and White.  The Regina product holds the Pats’ all-time record for career goals against average (GAA) at 2.56, as well as the single season GAA record at 2.39.  He also put together a 0.914 save percentage while amassing nine shutouts.

Harding went on to play 151 games with the NHL’s Minnesota Wild.  Over that time he put together a 60-59-11-10 record alongside a 0.918 save percentage and 2.45 goals against average.  Following the 2012-13 season, Harding was awarded the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy as the NHL player who ‘best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.’  In his 29 appearances in the 2013-14 season, Harding led the NHL with a 1.65 goals against average and 0.933 save percentage.
