K-J GRANTED RELEASE

The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the release of import quarterback Kerry Joseph.

“Kerry and I had several conversations throughout the week about the future direction of the club. At that time, he asked for and was granted a release. Kerry is a consummate professional. We value his contributions to the team, on and off the field, and wish him the very best in his future endeavors,” says Eskimos General Manager Ed Hervey.

During four years in Green and Gold (2010-13), Joseph completed 189-of-319 passes (59%) for 2,660 yards, 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He also rushed for 384 yards on 84 carries with 13 touchdowns.

“I’d like to personally thank the organization, fans, my teammates and coaches for the opportunity to continue to play the game I love in a great city with great people. Everyone will truly be missed from the bottom of my heart,” says Joseph.
