LABOUR DAY VISITORS ADVISED TO ALLOW EXTRA TIME

With the anticipated increase in traffic on during the Labour Day weekend Regina Bypass wants to remind motorists to make safety a priority.

During the long weekend traffic restrictions along Highway 1 East will remain be in effect. Drivers can expect reduced speeds and single lane traffic through the construction zones.

For those traveling to the Labour Day Classic on Sunday, Regina Bypass also suggests drivers allow for extra time to get to Regina and Mosaic Stadium.

With Regina Bypass construction happening in a variety of locations, all motorists should contact the Highway Hotline for construction updates and travel restrictions.

During construction, all drivers are reminded to watch for work zones and slow to 60 km/h as the safety of residents and those working on the Regina Bypass is a priority.
