LIONS ANNOUNCE 2017 COACHING STAFF

(Vancouver) BC Lions Football Club VP of football operations, GM and head coach Wally Buono today announced that eight members of his coaching staff will return for the 2017 season including coordinators Mark Washington (defence), Khari Jones (offence) and Marcello Simmons (special teams).

“I am pleased to have all of these gentlemen returning to the club for 2017,” said Buono. “Thanks in large part to their hard work, we were significantly better on the field this past season and I believe continuity with our coaching staff will benefit the players next season.”  

Other returning coaches include Dan Dorazio (offensive line), Robin Ross (defensive line), Marcel Bellefeuille (receivers), Chris Tormey (linebackers) and Mike Lionello (assistant running backs coach & quality control).

Note: Wally Buono will be available to the media at 2:00 pm at the club’s Surrey practice facility.
