LIONS LET STUBLER GO

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club announced that it will not renew the contract of defensive coordinator Rich Stubler for the 2014 season.

"I am grateful for Rich's contributions to our organization and on behalf of our club, I wish him the very best in the future," said head coach Mike Benevides.

Stubler had recently finished his second year as the team's defensive coordinator after returning to the BC Lions in 2012 following stints with the club in 2000 and 2010.

BC Lions Season tickets for 2014 are on sale now – Whether you're renewing your current seats or signing up for 2014, there's no better time than right now to take advantage of discounts, great prizing and an opportunity to lockdown your seats for the 102nd Grey Cup.
