LULAY DISLOCATES SHOULDER AGAIN

(Vancouver) ‎The BC Lions Football Club confirmed late this afternoon that quarterback Travis Lulay suffered a dislocated right shoulder during Friday night’s game in Ottawa.

“Travis has suffered a shoulder dislocation very similar to the one he had last season,” said Dr. Bob McCormack. “Due to the nature of the injury, the surgery which was performed on Travis’ shoulder last winter has essentially been undone.”

As a result of the injury and subsequent evaluation, Lulay will be placed on the club’s 6-game injured list and his playing status will continue to be reviewed by team doctors and training staff moving forward.

Lulay suffered a shoulder separation last season on September 15th against the Montreal Alouettes, but returned to action in the final week of the regular season.

Johnny Manziel would look good in CFL orange and black! The next Doug Flutie? Won't last much longer in the NFL.

Manziel makes more money in a month off his Twitter account than he would make it a career in the CFL. MTV offered him $12 million to do a reality TV show. I am pretty sure if he doesn't last in the NFL, he will find something to do that doesn't involve staying at the comfort inn in Winnipeg.

This may be the last we see of Lulay. I'd be surprised if we saw a Rob Bagg-like recovery from him.

I feel bad anytime a player goes down, no matter their jersey color. I have class. I don't clap and cheer when someone is hurt, and their football career may be over. I still remember when Anthony Calvillo went down. Even though he was not my favorite person in 2009 and 2010, I was sick to my stomach when he sustained that sternum injury in 2011.
