MAHURA SIGNS WITH DUCKS

Regina, Saskatchewan – Regina Pats defenceman Josh Mahura has signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Anaheim Ducks.

Mahura was drafted in the third round, 85th overall, in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Ducks. The St. Albert, Alberta product enjoyed a career year in 2016-17, scoring 17 goals and adding 36 assists for 53 points in 73 games between Regina and Red Deer.

Mahura went on to lead all defenceman in the playoffs with eight goals and was third in points with 21 in 23 games.

The 19-year-old was acquired from the Red Deer Rebels in a trade on January 10, 2017.
