McKENZIE RETIRES A RIDER

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that international defensive back Chris McKenzie has signed a one-day contract with the team and will subsequently retire as a Roughrider.

McKenzie spent his entire four year CFL career with the Green and White after originally joining the team as a free agent in 2009. The Arizona State product played 57 regular season games with the Riders where he collected 164 defensive tackles and four interceptions.

He also added four career playoff games and played in the 2009 and 2010 Grey Cup games.

Originally from New York, McKenzie and his wife Whitney make Regina their home where he currently works as a shop foreman at A&B Oilfield.
