Thank God, Regina Pats never made it to this Battle. They would never had kept up to even the weaker Red Deer Team It would have been total embarrassment for the Whole Province.

RD looked like a team that hadn't played in a while. Host teams who sort of back in never seem to have much success. They outplayed London for the first 10 minutes but go victimized on a PP goal stemming from a rather questionable call against. They never seemed to recover after that. RD played very stale with poor timing and were a defensive nightmare. Sutter won't stand for the poor play of yesterday.

First anon… I can only assume you're trolling because if the Pats made it this far they would have won a WHL Championship and had to have beat Red Deer along the way (who they went to game 7 with).

But do go on and tell us all how them winning a championship would be an embarrassment to the province.

The Pats were not good enough this year, we'll see how Brandon does. Red Deer hasn't played a game in awhile, maybe they were a little rusty. With Canada being a great hockey nation it's unfortunate we have to give the host city's team a hall pass otherwise the stands are empty. Really sad.

Looks like the WHL is the weak sister in the CHL.
