SOCHI, Russia (CP) – Team Canada is 2-0 at the Sochi Olympics after a 6-0 win over Austria.
Jeff Carter had a hat trick for Canada while Drew Doughty, Shea Weber and Ryan Getzlaf also scored for Canada.
Roberto Luongo made 23 saves to get the shutout.
Canada opened the tournament with a 3-1 win over Norway on Thursday.
After a day off Saturday, Canada will close out the preliminary round Sunday against Finland.
An improved game for Canada! Even more then the first game, this one was never even close. Glad I'm not the one to have to decide who plays net against the Finns. But I do lean towards Price because I think he is more capable of stealing a game if necessary. Shea Weber's shot is FRIGHTENING!
