NFL WEEK 10 PICKS FROM THE SPORTS DOCTOR FOR FOUR SEASONS
Last week I went 8-5 SU (88-44) and 7-6 ATS (72-60).
Minnesota Vikings (6-2) at Washington Redskins (4-4)
Line: Vikings by 1
The Redskins won last week in Seattle, and they return home to face a rested Minnesota squad who have a lot of weapons. Take the Vikings to win and cover.
Green Bay Packers (4-4) at Chicago Bears (3-5)
Line: Bears by 5.5
We saw what the Packers could do on Monday without Aaron Rodgers…nothing, and at home! Take the Bears to win and cover,
Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2) at Indianapolis Colts (3-6)
Line: Steelers by 10
Back to Earth for Indy, as they face a well-rested Big Ben and the rest of the Steelers. Take the Steelers to win and cover.
Los Angeles Chargers (3-5) at Jacksonville Jaguars (5-3)
Line: Jaguars by 4
Jacksonville have allowed just seven points over their last two games, and in their five wins this season they have not allowed more than nine points. Won’t be close. Take the Jaguars to win and cover.
New Orleans Saints (6-2) at Buffalo Bills (5-3)
Line: Saints by 3
New Orleans have won six straight games because of their defense, while the Bills looked dreadful in that loss to the Jets. Take the Saints to win and cover.
Cleveland Browns (0-8) at Detroit Lions (4-4)
Line: Lions by 12.5
Detroit’s defense was the story in Green Bay, but their offense will be the story against the bumbling Browns. Take the Lions to win and cover.
New York Jets (4-5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-6)
Line: Jets by 2.5
The Jets are one of the surprises of the league and already have exceeded many people’s expectations. The Bucs will be without Jameis Winston and receiver Mike Evans, so they should be easy prey. Take the Jets to win and cover.
Cincinnati Bengals (3-5) at Tennessee Titans (5-3)
Line: Titans by 4.5
The Bengals are playing consecutive road games, which is tough, and their offense is horrible. The Titans didn’t look that great beating Baltimore, but their defense wasn’t too bad. I think they take it. Take the Titans to win and cover
Houston Texans (3-5) at Los Angeles Rams (6-2)
Line: Rams by 11.5
Well, that was fun while it lasted wasn’t it Houston fans? No Deshaun Watson, no hope. Take the Rams to win and cover.
Dallas Cowboys (5-3) at Atlanta Falcons (4-4)
Line: Falcons by 3
Dallas has three straight victories, but Atlanta needs this one more for any hope of making the playoffs. Take the Falcons to win and cover.
New York Giants (1-7) at San Francisco 49ers (0-9)
Line: Giants by 2.5
Someone’s gotta win right? I can’t see the 49ers going 0-16 this year, so it’s their turn to win this week. Take the 49ers in an upset.
New England Patriots (6-2) at Denver Broncos (3-5)
Line: Patriots by 7.5
What’s sad about Denver is the fact they have a great defense and good receivers, but lack talent at QB. New England coming off the bye will still win, but will once again have trouble scoring. Take the Patriots to win but not cover.
Miami Dolphins (4-4) at Carolina Panthers (6-3)
Line: Panthers by 9
Carolina handled Atlanta quite easily, but in my mind they are inconsistent in their effort. However, they are the better team. Take the Panthers to win but not cover.
