PAT CANADIANS OFF TO TELUS CUP NATIONALS
Regina Pat Canadians capped a perfect showing at the Telus Cup Regionals in Steinbach, MB with a 4-2 victory over the Thunder Bay Kings on Sunday afternoon at the T.G. Smith Centre.
Payton Gorski, Alexander Konnok Leipert, Jordan Kazymyra and Carson Denomie all scored for Regina while Lukas Sillinger picked up a pair of assists.
Nathan Moore made 23 saves to collect the win in the Regina goal.
Sillinger led all scorers in the tournament with eight points.
The Telus Cup Nationals begin on Monday, April 24 at the CN Centre in Prince George with the Caribou Cougars serving as the host team.
The Regina Pat Canadians and Notre Dame Hounds have won the most national championships in Canadian history with four each.
