PAT C’S, ARGOS GOING THE DISTANCE

The Regina Pat Canadians hosted the Notre Dame Argos at the Co-operators Center on Monday and came away with a thrilling 5-2 victory to tie the best-of-5 series at 2-2.

The Pat Canadians led 2-1 after the first period and 3-2 after the 2nd period. The Pat Canadians scored two goals in the 3rd period on their way to a 5-2 victory.

The Pat Canadians were led by Jayden Halbgewachs with two goals and one assist. The other goal scores for the Canadians were Cohen Yano, Taylor Hoedel and Arthur Miller.

Scoring for the Notre Dame Argos were Makai Holdener and Gage Ramsey.

Logan Flodell made saved 39 of 41 shots for the victory.

Matt Kustra made 29 of 34 saves for the ND Argos.

The fifth and deciding game goes Wednesday, March 19th at the ND Argos. Game time in Wilcox is 8:00 pm.
