PAT C’S SPLIT WITH TROJANS

The Regina Pat Canadians traveled to Tisdale this weekend to play the Tisdale Trojans on Saturday, December 14 and again Sunday, December 15 at the Tisdale RecPlex. They were defeated 4 – 3 on Saturday and won in overtime on Sunday by the same score 4 – 3.

On Saturday, the Pat Canadians spotted the Tisdale Trojans a 3 goal margin early in the first period and fought hard only to lose 4 – 3. Scoring for the Pat C’s were Peyton Hogan, Jayden Halbgewachs and Owen Sillinger. Sillinger also added an assist, while Tyler Adams had two assists.

Logan Flodell started the game and made 4 of 6 saves and then gave way to Cameron Pateman who made 18 of 20 saves.

Scoring for Tisdale was Wyatt Hinson with two goals and singles from Rylan Freed and Caleb Seaman. Kye Stienke made 26 of 29 saves for the Trojans.

On Sunday, December 15 the Pat Canadians completed their double header against Tisdale with a 4 – 3 victory.

Scoring for Regina was Peyton Hogan with a goal and an assist, same for Conner Chaulk with a goal and an assist, the other scorer in regulation was Jayden Halbgewachs.

Owen Sillinger scored the overtime winner in the first 15 seconds of the overtime.

Logan Flodell made 22 of 25 saves for the win.

Scoring on Sunday for Tisdale were Caleb Seaman, Wyatt Hinson and Brandon Arnold. Kye Stienke made 29 of 33 saves for Tisdale.

The next home game for the Pat Canadians is at the Co-operators Center on Saturday, December 21 and Sunday, December 22, 2013 versus the North Battleford Stars.
