PAT C’S SWEEP ROAD WEEKEND
The Regina Pat Canadians were on the road for a pair this weekend as they beat the Blackhawks in Beardy’s 7-2 Saturday and the Mintos 6-0 in P.A. on Sunday.
On Saturday at Beardy’s, scoring for Regina were Jake Tesarowski (2-1-3) with singles from Bryce Platt, Ryan Roberts, Tyran Brown, Riley Woods and Arthur Miller.
Clarke Flegel stopped 30 of 32 shots directed his way in earning the victory.
The Beardy’s Blackhawks goal scorers were Chase Daniels and Nick Shumlanski.
Curtis Meger earned the shutout on Sunday stopping all 18 shots in P.A.
The goal scorers for the Pat Canadians were Blake Dempsey with a single and two assists, Connor Chaulk, Arthur Miller, Bryce Platt, Mark Edmands and Owen Sillinger. Ty Barnstable added two assists.
The Pat Canadians are on the road again on Tuesday, October 21st when they travel to Swift Current to play the Legionnaires.
The next home game for the Regina Pat Canadians is Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 4:30 PM vs the Tisdale Trojans.
