PAT C’S UP 1-0
The Regina Pat Canadians hosted the Notre Dame Hounds on Thursday, March 12th. The Pat C’s won the first game of Round 2 by a score of 4-2 giving them a 1-0 lead in the best of 5 series. They play the Hounds in Wilcox on Saturday afternoon at 3 PM and then back here in Regina on Sunday, March 15 at 7:00 PM. The winner of this series will move on to play the winner of the Battleford Stars and the Tisdale Trojans.
Thursday’s game scorers were Mathew Smishek, Tyler Adams, Ty Barnstable and Owen Sillinger, with Riley Woods having 2 assists.
Curtis Meger stopped 35 of 37 shots directed his way in the victory.
Scoring for the Notre Dame Hounds were Carson MacKinnon and Conor McLean
Dylan Ferguson stopped 22 or 26 shots directed their way.
The Pat Canadians will host the Notre Dame Hounds in Round 2 – game three on Sunday, March 15th at 7:00 PM at the Cooperators.
