The Week That Was
With three games to close out their B.C. Division road trip, the Pats made the most of the swing.

The Blue and White got back in the win column Wednesday night up in Prince George when they cruised by the Cougars by a 5-2 score.  Morgan Klimchuk had a pair of goals in the win.

Friday saw the Pats score four times in the first period as they steamrolled the Kamloops Blazers, 7-3.  Dryden Hunt posted five assists while Connor Gay tallied his second hat-trick of the season.

The Queen City Kids saved their best performance for last when they handed the Kelowna Rockets just their third regulation loss of the season, 3-1 in Kelowna on Saturday.  Pavel Padakin and Sam Steel scored shorthanded goals just 32 seconds apart and Braden Christoffer added insurance into an empty net late in the contest for a win to close the trip.

The Week Ahead
Wednesday, December 3rd – Pats vs. Brandon (7:00 p.m.)
The Pats play their first home game since November 18th when they welcome the conference leading Wheat Kings.  It’s Teddy Bear Toss Night presented by Southland Mall and Global Regina, so bring new plush toys to the game to throw on the ice when the Pats score their first goal.  Global Regina will also be selling a limited number of teddy bears on the concourse prior to the game.

Friday, December 5th – Pats at Brandon (7:30 p.m. CST)
After their quick stop at home it’s back to the road for the back half of an extended home and home with the Wheat Kings.  Don’t miss any of the action!  Tune into the game on 620 CKRM with Home Depot Pats Hockey starting at 7:05 p.m. or watch the game on WHL Live Web TV.

World Junior Invite
Morgan Klimchuk took another step towards wearing the maple leaf on home ice when it was announced he has earned an invite to Canada’s World Junior Selection Camp starting December 11th.  Klimchuk has 20 points (9G, 11A) in 18 games this season.  Wednesday’s game will be the last chance fans have to see the Calgary Flames prospect before he leaves for the Selection Camp.

Team Saskatchewan U16
Prospects Erik Gardiner and Carson Welke will don green jerseys for the Canada Winter Games in Prince George.  Both were named to Team Saskatchewan U16 Monday and will participate in the games which run February 13th to March 1st in the New Year.  Gardiner was a 2nd Round pick and Welke was taken in the 7th Round by the Pats in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.

Teddy Trick
Pavel Padakin already owns the distinction as the only player to score the “Teddy Bear Goal” two years in a row (Calgary Hitmen 2012, 2013).  When the Pats face off against the Wheat Kings Wednesday night, he’ll be looking for the “Teddy Trick” by scoring the Blue and White’s first goal.  Padakin has two goals in his last four games and scored the first goal for the Pats Saturday in Kelowna.

Give the Gift of Hockey
The Pats are pleased to present a Voucher Pack Bonus Offer for all purchases now until December 31st.  When you purchase any 8-Ticket Voucher Pack (Adult, Senior or Youth/Special Needs apply), receive two (2) bonus vouchers to make it a TEN PACK!  To purchase, visit the Regina Pats Office in the West End of the Brandt Centre, or call the office at 306-522-PATS (7287).
