•The Week That Was
The Pats saw their lead in the East Division dwindle when they found themselves on the wrong side of the Edmonton Oil Kings taking a 5-2 win at the Brandt Centre on Wednesday. Dryden Hunt scored both Pats goals in his first game back from the injury that had held him out of the lineup or seven games.
The Blue and White recovered their five point edge Friday when they cruised to a 5-2 victory in Lethbridge over the Hurricanes. Dyson Stevenson had a goal and two assists in the win.
The Pats iced a depleted lineup with both Kyle Burroughs and Colby Williams out of action in Kootenay on Saturday. The Pats defence put together a gutsy effort to keep the Pats within striking distance, but the Queen City Kids couldn’t find the tying goal on a late flurry, falling 3-1 to the Ice.

• Chasing the Pennant
With just three games remaining the Pats are still setting the pace in the East Division. Their slim three point lead leaves little margin for error in the final week of the season. Two Pats wins, two Broncos losses or one of each will grant the Pats their first division title since the 2007-08 season. The Blue and White play two of their final three games at the Brandt Centre against playoff contending teams. The Broncos will also play two of their final three on friendly ice, but against teams already eliminated from the playoffs.
