The Week That Was
A light week for the Pats saw their win streak come to an end, and a new string begin.  The second period was the Blue and White’s undoing Wednesday night in Swift Current.  Leading 2-0 after one period, the Broncos scored four goals in the middle frame and tacked on another to start the third.  Sam Steel and Braden Christoffer each scored to pull the Pats within one, but Jake DeBrusk completed a hat-trick into the empty net late to seal the Pats 6-4 loss.

Saturday in Saskatoon was a night of lead changes.  After falling behind 1-0, the Pats jumped to a 3-1 advantage before surrendering the lead early in the third.  Chase Harrison tied the game midway through the period .  That set the stage for late heroics as Christoffer carried from centre ice, drove the net and scored with three seconds left in a 5-4 victory.
