The Week That Was
A key set of games saw the Pats build up a three game win streak and build up a ten point lead for 2nd in the East Division.
The second period was where the Pats found their scoring touch Friday against Saskatoon. The Queen City Kids scored three times in the opening five minutes of the frame en route to a 4-1 win versus the Blades.
The middle period would again be the Pats’ best as they scored three times on the powerplay, sending them to a 4-1 over Red Deer on Saturday.
Monday bought the Pats to Saskatoon to wrap up their season series with the Blades. The Pats battled back from a 3-1 third period deficit to win 5-4 in a shootout for their 14th straight against Saskatoon.

The Week Ahead
Wednesday, February 25th – Pats vs. Kootenay (7:00 p.m.)
The Pats host Sam Reinhart and the Kootenay Ice for the final time this season. The Blue and White hold a 1-1-1-0 record versus the Ice on the year. Wednesday is the sixth annual Howard Anderson First Nations and Metis Awareness Night presented by Casino Regina.
Friday, February 27th – Pats vs. Medicine Hat (7:00 p.m.)
Kyle Burroughs and Dryden Hunt make their return to the Brandt Centre for the first time as Medicine Hat Tigers. Last time out, the Pats fell 5-4 in the shootout in a wild contest in Medicine Hat.
Saturday, February 28th – Pats at Moose Jaw (7:00 p.m.)
The Pats and Warriors meet in the first of two home-and-homes down the stretch. Last time the teams met, Moose Jaw snapped a 12 game losing streak against Regina. The Pats will be well supported with a fan bus heading to Moose Jaw.
Sunday, March 1st – Pats vs. Moose Jaw (6:00 p.m.)
The back half of the home and home goes in Regina with the Pats playing their third game in as many nights and fifth game of the week. A strong week could see the Pats clinch a playoff spot for the second year in a row.
Training for Life Dinner
The Regina Pats are pleased to partner with Special Olympics Saskatchewan for the upcoming annual Training for Life Dinner Tuesday, March 3rd at the Double Tree by Hilton. Pats Head Coach and Sr. VP of Hockey Operations, John Paddock, will be the keynote speaker and members of the team will be in attendance to sign autographs and take photos with attendees. Tickets are $50 and include a Pats game voucher! Visit the Pats Office to purchase tickets.
