THE WEEK THAT WAS

The Pats’ didn’t get the start they were looking for in Games One and Two of their Eastern Conference Quarter-Final series with the Brandon Wheat Kings.

The Blue and White faltered in the series opener and allowed four goals in the opening twenty minutes.  The Pats fought back into the contest, but fell short in their comeback bid in the second and third periods for a 6-3 loss.

Regina opened the scoring in Game 2, but Brandon responded with five unanswered goals and though the Pats would start to battle back again, the deficit was too much to overcome.  The Wheat Kings grabbed a 2-0 series lead on the strength of an 8-4 victory.
