PATCHAT
The Week That Was
WHL action resumed this past weekend following the Christmas break and the Pats found mixed results. After leading Swift Current 2-0 through twenty minutes Saturday night, the Broncos stormed back to beat the Pats 5-3 to start the second half. The Pats outshot the Broncos 20-7 in the third period, but couldn’t find a tying goal late.
Having lost three in a row to their rivals from Swift Current, the Blue and White vented their frustration Sunday at the Brandt Centre where they scored five unanswered goals en route to a 6-1 drubbing of the Broncos. The Queen City Kids got goals from six different scorers.
