SASKATOON – The Regina Pats won their fifth consecutive game in a Monday matinee, 2-1 over the Saskatoon Blades. 

Adam Brooks scored on the powerplay in the first, Dawson Leedahl in the second and Tyler Brown did the rest making 22 saves to lead the Pats to victory.

The Pats outshot Saskatoon 27-23, the powerplay was two for four and the penalty kill went four for five. With the win, the Pats improve to 2-0-1-0 against the Blades and to 34-6-6-1 on the season.
