CRANBROOK, B.C. (CP) – Sam Steel had a goal and an assist and Regina built up a three-goal lead en route to defeating the Ice 3-2 on Tuesday.

Colton Kroeker and Riley Woods also scored for the Pats (6-5-0), who got a 37-save performance from Daniel Wapple.

Zak Zborosky and Luke Philp struck for Kootenay (2-10-0), which has dropped three in a row. Declan Hobbs made 27 saves in defeat.

The Pats finished their Central Division road trip at 3-2-0.  Sunday they return home to host the P.A. Raiders at 4:00 pm on 620 CKRM.
