PATS 4 WARRIORS 3 (OT)

MOOSE JAW, Sask. – Chase Harrison scored his first of the season 13 seconds into extra time as the Regina Pats beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 4-3 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Austin Wagner and Adam Brooks led the Regina (7-6-1) offence with a goal and two assists each. Colton Koreker had the other.

Brett Howden had two goals and an assist for the Warriors (8-3-3). Brayden Point forced overtime after scoring his 11th of the season at 19:17 of the third period.

Tyler Brown made 38 saves for the win as Brody Williams turned aside 28 shots for Moose Jaw.

The Pats were 0 for 4 on the power play while the Warriors went 0 for 5.

Regina’s Aaron Macklin received a game misconduct at 18:51 of the second period after a major penalty for checking to the head.

The Pats are at Swift Current next Friday at 7:00 pm on 620 CKRM.

The Warriors staged a great comeback but fell short in the OT. It was an exciting game expecially the last 10 minutes.
