Regina –  Matt Bradley scored twice including the game winner in the third to lead the Pats past the Brandon Wheat Kings, 4-3 at the Brandt Centre on Saturday night.

George King got the scoring started for the Pats in their home opener with his first career goal. Matt Bradley added to the lead with a goal on a penalty shot and it was 2-0 after one.

The Wheat Kings drew even with two powerplay goals in the second before Wyatt Sloboshan ripped a shot into the top corner from the left circle to give the Pats the 3-2 lead after 40 minutes.

In the final frame, Bradley scored his second of the night, third of the season to extend the lead to two. Brandon got one back with their net empty from Tanner Kaspick but the Pats held on after that for the 4-3 victory.

Bradley, Sloboshan and Dawson Davidson each had two points while Tyler Brown made 15 saves in the win.

Regina was one for seven on the powerplay and one for three on the penalty kill.
