PATS 5 RAIDERS 4 SO

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. (CP) – Boston Leier had a goal and an assist along with the shootout winner as Regina slipped past the Raiders 5-4 Friday evening at the Art Hauser Centre.

Chandler Stephenson, Patrick D’Amico and Dryden Hunt also scored for the Pats (30-22-5).

Leon Draisaitl had two goals and an assist for Prince Albert (26-27-4), Collin Valcourt and Calder Brooks each scored once and Sawyer Lange tacked on three assists.

Regina’s Daniel Wapple made 33 saves for the win as Cole Cheveldave stopped 35 shots for the Raiders.

The Pats host Swift Current Saturday evening at 7:00 on 620 CKRM (Press Box Sports Bar Pregame Show at 6:35 pm).

Time to start looking at booking Memorial Cup tickets the way the Pats are playing.

The Pats were brutal in this game. Specialty teams, discipline and work ethic. If not for Daniel Wapple we would have been run out of the building. These guys have lots to work on. Not Memorial Cup material yet.

Did the pats not out shoot PA last night? They obviously weren't that bad and by no means close to getting blown out if not for wapple. What game were you watching there big guy?
