PATS 5 TIGERS 4 (SO)

MEDICINE HAT, Alta.(CP) – Lane Zablocki scored the winner in the eighth round of the shootout as Regina edged the Tigers 5-4 to extend their winning streak to six games on Tuesday.

Connor Hobbs and Sam Steel had power-play goals in regulation for the Pats (29-23-7). Rykr Cole and Austin Wagner had the others.

Matt Bradley and Brian Williams both converted on the power play late in the third to force extra time for Medicine Hat (22-34-5). Zach Fischer and Clayton Kirichenko rounded out the attack.

The Pats are at Lethbridge Wednesday at 8:00 pm on 620 CKRM.  Friday they return home to face the P.A. Raiders.
