REGINA (CP) – Patrick D’Amico scored the first of five straight goals to lead the Pats over Swift Current 6-1 Sunday to earn a split of their weekend home-and-home series.



Adam Brooks, Rykr Cole, Austin Wagner, Jared McAmmond and Dryden Hunt supplied the rest of the offence for Regina (21-12-2).  Daniel Wapple made 23 saves in Regina’s goal for the win.


Colby Cave had a power-play goal for the Broncos (18-15-4) who had the game tied 1-1 after one period but trailed 5-1 after two.


Regina outshot the Broncos 46-24 while going 0/7 on the powerplay and 6/7 on the penalty kill.


The Pats visit Saskatoon Tuesday night at 7:00 on 620 CKRM (Press Box Sports Bar Pregame Show at 6:35 pm).
