REGINA – Connor Gay had a goal and two assists as the Pats defeated Moose Jaw 6-4 Friday in the Brandt Centre to sweep the home-and-home series.
Colby Williams, Patrick D’Amico, Austin Wagner, Nathyn Mortlock and Pavel Padakin supplied the rest of the offence for Regina (24-12-2) for its fourth-straight win.
Tanner Eberle struck twice for the Warriors (15-20-4) with Brett Howden and Jiri Smejkal also chipping in.
The Pats outshot the Warriors 35-27 while going 1/5 on the powerplay and 8/8 on the penalty kill. The attendance was 4796. The Pats host the Calgary Hitmen Sunday evening at 6:00 (Press Box Sports Bar Pregame Show at 5:35 pm).

Easy on Leanne folks,I have heard her on the sports call in shows. She is well informed knows her Sh@t. So she doesnt like the trade thats her opinion. I do like it. I think the pats go just as far in the playoffs with this trade as without it. Thats my opinion and we are both entitled to ours. Klimchuk was a 1st round pick # 30 i believe so a fringe pick could of just as easily been a 2nd. Gaby is going to be a gem. I think. Lol.

P.S. Given the club's roster age and draft pick situation the Klimchuk trade was a necessary no-brainer and anybody that disagrees can't claim to "know their stuff."

Anyhow, at least we know what her voice sounds like from the sports call-in shows, which makes her a bit less anonymous than 99.9% of the posters on this comments section. It matters not who is setting out their opinion, but the substance and merit of their opinion and whether it contributes to the debate (such as it is).
