PATS ACQUIRE GINNELL FROM MOOSE JAW
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats Hockey Club has acquired 2002-born forward Riley Ginnell from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick.
Ginnell, 20, has played in 16 games split between the Brandon Wheat Kings and Warriors this season, recording three points (1G-2A). The Calgary, Alta. product set career highs in games (62), goals (14), assists (20) and points (34) with the Wheat Kings last season. The 6-foot-4, 205 lb. left-shot winger was drafted in the seventh round by the Kamloops Blazers in 2017 and has scored 50 career points (22G-28A) in 127 games across parts of four seasons in the WHL.
