PATS BOUNCE WARRIORS 4-3
Regina, Sask. — The Regina Pats won their third consecutive game on Wednesday night, edging the Moose Jaw Warriors 4-3 in regulation.
The Pats are now 5-7-0 on the season, while the Warriors drop to 4-7-0 and have lost four of their last five.
The Regiment were led by a pair of Zacks: Zack Smith and Zack Stringer each recorded a goal and an assist. Braxton Whitehead and Luke Bateman also scored, with Bateman’s late second period marker holding up as the game-winner. Bateman, Whitehead and Smith’s goal were all their first tallies of the season.
Two of the Pats goals came with the man advantage, as that was a difference maker, with Moose Jaw going 0-for-3 on their power play.
The Pats host the Brandon Wheat Kings next on the schedule on Saturday night, in the third game of their six-game homestand.
