PATS DEAL A GOALIE
The Regina Pats Hockey Club announced Wednesday, they have acquired a conditional sixth round pick in 2018 from the Kootenay ICE in exchange for 19-year-old goaltender Kurtis Chapman.
Chapman, from Airdrie, AB, was a seventh round pick by the Pats in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.
He spent the 2016-17 season as a member of the Portage Terriers of the MJHL. Chapman suited up in one game for Regina in 2015-16 and twice more in the 2016-17 season.
The Pats will continue the 2017 pre-season on Friday night against the Prince Albert Raiders at 7 p.m. at the Brandt Centre. Tickets will be available at the door for $10.
