PATS DEAL MCNUTT TO SWIFT CURRENT

Regina, Sask. — The Regina Pats have traded 2003-born defenceman Adam McNutt to the Swift Current Broncos in exchange for a 2023 fifth-round pick.

“We had numbers on defence with the acquisition of Tanner Brown yesterday,” Regina Pats General Manager and Head Coach John Paddock said. “This was a chance for us to get a draft pick back and a team wanted Adam [McNutt]. He was a good Pat and we wish him all the best.”

McNutt, 19, appeared in all eight games with the Pats to start the season after scoring six points (2G-4A) in 47 games last season split between Regina and the Prince Albert Raiders. The Saskatoon, Sask. product was acquired by the Pats from the Raiders in exchange for forward Sloan Stanick on October 12, 2021. The 6-foot-1, 203 lb. defenceman has played in 77 games across parts of three seasons in the WHL, scoring nine points (3G-6A).

The Pats would like to wish Adam all the best with the Broncos and thank him for his contributions to the organization.
