PATS DUST WHEAT KINGS 6-1

Regina, Sask. — The Regina Pats blew out the Brandon Wheat Kings 6-1 on Saturday night to pick up their fourth consecutive victory.

The Pats are now 6-7-0 on the season, while the Wheat Kings drop to 5-9-0.

The Regiment were led by youngster Tanner Howe, who had a pair of goals and increased his point streak to three games (3G, 3A), but they also got production from various parts of their lineup, with Zack Stringer, Adam McNutt, Ryker Evans and Cole Carrier also chipping in with goals. Borya Valis also had a standout game, finishing with three assists. Connor Bedard was held pointless, and was plus-1.

Regina’s power play stayed hot with another two goals (2-for-6). It has now gone 7-for-18 in the last four games (38.9%). The attendance was 3745.

The Pats host the Red Deer Rebels next on the schedule on Wednesday night, which will be their annual Remembrance Day game!
